Sentry Crash Report:

Description Henning 2023-09-14 19:20:02 UTC
I have this situation quite often now, it has two ways to go:

1. When having the lockscreen I try to enter the password, nothing happens. When I then press the fingerprint sensor it unlocks

this is already a big bug, as if the sensor was broken I could not log in!!

2. When seeing the "enter password" field, it already says "timeout while trying to read fingerprint"

In this case I have no way to unlock as
2.1 the "timeout" is not possible to circumvent to this seems to block the fingerprint sensor
2.2 there seems to be no way to use the password instead

weirdly I found a way around this, switching to a TTY, logging in (Fingerprint sensor works flawlessly there) and switching back to the logged in session.

Proposal (I guess)
- fix the timeout problem, what is that, why does it occur?
- fix the problem that login doesnt work with a password, this is most important!
