(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package:
Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from:
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-110)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-3
OS/Compiler notes:

It seems it's not possible to configure Ctrl-B to NOT be a shortcut for Add Bookmark.

This is very annoying when using input fields esp. in FORMs (like one I'm typing in right now). Being an Emacs addict I have been able to reclaim all other essential emacs commands for editing in Configure Shortcuts except ctrl-B with the result that I keep filling by bookmark file with garbage.

Please make it possible to use ctrl-B for backward-char in input fields!
