Just tried this with Elisa and all the buttons and the volume slider seem to work for me. Which apps can you reproduce this with? Are there any apps that do work? Are there any apps that do work? I tried with Clementine and Firefox (on Youtube)... Elisa can't be started. I hadn't found any app which works fine with the control on Neon. But everything works as expected on OpenMandriva Cooker. How about VLC installed from the distro repos via apt (not Discover or from Flatpak)? I wonder if this is an issue that's only affecting Flatpak or Snap apps. I wonder if this is an issue that's only affecting Flatpak or Snap > apps. I generally use Muon here. Tried from konsole installing VLC, but nothing has changed. Can you run `journalctl -f` in a terminal window and see if anything is printed to there when you click the buttons that don't work? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #5) > Can you run `journalctl -f` in a terminal window and see if anything is > printed to there when you click the buttons that don't work? Unfortunately nothing has been printed. If I right click on the Multimedia widget in the system tray I get: plasmashell KPackageStructure of KPluginMetaData(pluginId:"org.kde.kdeconnect", fileName: "/usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.kdeconnect/metadata.json") does not match requested format "Plasma/Applet" Could this be relevant? Let's ask the expert! CCing Alexander. That means that the kdeconnect plasmoid could not be loaded. It should not affect other components. Fixed on my neon unstable after today's updates. (In reply to Patrick Silva from comment #10) > Fixed on my neon unstable after today's updates. The same is for me, now! Should we close this issue? Yup. I suspect this was fixed by https://invent.kde.org/neon/kde/plasma-workspace/-/commit/ba1707be286555afd995e559601579e041a8e566. |
