SUMMARY
In some other chat programs, users can press Escape to hide the main window.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Press Esc in the main window

Nothing happens

The main window hides

Typically this is done for dialog and utility windows. If the main window of an app did it, I think it would be unexpected and worrying. So -1 from me. :)

Have to agree with Nate here. Top-level windows shouldn't close when pressing Esc
