SUMMARY

There used to be a pointy number annotation tool in an older version of Spectacle that is no longer available. It was my go-to way of marking up screenshots when explaining things. Please bring it back.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Take a screenshot
2. Enter annotation
3. Use Number tool

OBSERVED RESULT

Only numbered circles are possible


EXPECTED RESULT

There would be a different tool (or maybe the same) where you can click to place and then hold and drag out to create a pointy arrow from it.

I just noticed that the Annotation tool in Gwenview (Show Editing Tools > Annotate),  does have the "Number Pointer" tool. This looks like a generic component to me that should be shared between Spectacle and Gwenview.
