SUMMARY
Looking at the KDE Invent entry for the PIM application Merkuro, the current description in the GitLab instance is confusing.

At the top of the section, a statement is made that, Merkuro is a calendar application.

Further down the entry in the README, a statement is made that, Merkuro is an application suite handling emails, calendars, contacts, and tasks -- in other words a PIM application.

It's not clear if, Merkuro will be replacing Kontact as the KDE Plasma PIM application or, if Merkuro will be offered as a simplified PIM application for users who do not need the functionality offered by Kontact.
