The user can set any app to open from the right side of the screen (like a sidebar), with optional autohide after a timeout. 

Ideal for social media apps or anything you don't want to get in your way while working.

New ideas are out of scope for the bug tracker.
See kwin scripting to achieve a similar effect without work in kwin itself.
