After I put the system to sleep and wake it up, NeoChat display the offline-error and requires a full restart to work again.
Happens every time.

KDE neon 5.27

I disconnected my wifi to setup a new wireless access point and have the same issue but my neochat does reconnect but the banner doesn't disappear.

This has been fixed in the years since, the error banner even disappears too
