STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open fcitx5 application
2. open konsole application
3. use shortcut keys to switch the Chinese input method

OBSERVED RESULT
I cannot input Chinese in the konsole 

EXPECTED RESULT
I can type Chinese in the konsole
