digiKam definitely shows the image rotated based on the metadata (if option enabled in the metadata settings). And what do we have to do with shotwell? Please provide a HEIF image of the IPhone 13. Maik Note this Bug 461205, digiKam requires at least libheif-1.14. If it is not available in your distribution, use our AppImage. Maik Correction >= libheif-1.13 is required.
