no bug in pulseaudio volume control
bug*
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #2) > If you install and open the "PulseAudio Volume Control" app, does the same > bug appear there? Nope. Displays correctly there. Thanks for checking! Is this still a problem? Still a problem on this setup: Operating System: KDE neon 6.0 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.8.0-40-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 20 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-13600K Memory: 31.1 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2 Manufacturer: ASRock Product Name: Z690M-ITX/ax Please get the output of `pactl list` Then the output of `pactl get-default-sink` Then fix the desync Then the output of `pactl get-default-sink` again Then the output of `pactl list` again Would also be great if you could grab a screenshot of PulseAudio Volume Control with all buttons visible. pactl list during desync

pactl list after fixing desync
pactl get-default-sink before fixing desync: alsa_output.usb-Dell_C2722DE_YCG4T1CKCJQL-00.analog-stereo pactl get-default-sink after fixing desync: alsa_output.pci-0000_01_00.1.hdmi-stereo-extra1 pactl list before/after added as attachments. (In reply to mashkal2000@gmail.com from comment #13) > pactl get-default-sink before fixing desync: > alsa_output.usb-Dell_C2722DE_YCG4T1CKCJQL-00.analog-stereo > pactl get-default-sink after fixing desync: > alsa_output.pci-0000_01_00.1.hdmi-stereo-extra1 > > pactl list before/after added as attachments. That does suggest that the problem is actually in pulseaudio. If it was a UI bug only the device should not have changed. Best report this upstream to pulseaudio directly. Actually, neon is about to move to pipewire anyway, so this may resolve itself as part of that migration. |
