This might be solved after porting the compact UI to responsive layouts I'd like to add one more feature to the wishlist: transferring album art (instead of the currently used KDE Connect icon) from KDE Connect when it's the current/active media player displayed. Created attachment 168251 [details]

Created attachment 160544 [details] Media Player widget on Desktop and Sidebar SUMMARY *** This widget displays very functional and good-looking on desktop, but it's not like that on a panel, e.g. on my right panel (sidebar) below Analog Clock, Calculator etc. As seen in the screenshot, the progress bar and media control buttons are omitted (available only in context menu) when it's added to a relatively wide panel, although they are displayed on desktop even in a smaller height. One can't get them even by increasing the panel width because the height also increases proportionally, making it impossible to use on a panel with other similar widgets.
