Bug 472593

Summary: I'm not sure if this is the right place to report/mention this, but I can't step up the size. It's just stuck on 1.00 px.

Hi,

What kind of brush are you using? Some brush engines use size differently. In particular the shape engine doesn't have a concept of a brush size (as you end up drawing an area, not drawing brush dabs), so it stays at 1px. You can see the brush engine name in the brush settings menu at the top (you can press f5 to open it as well), beyond that, you can switch brushes in the preset docker to a brush that does have a brush size.

If the brush size stays locked to 1px despite selecting different brushes (with the freehand tool selected), then we might have a bug.

Yeah I see it. I wasn't aware of this. Didn't even realize that I was on a different brush. Sorry for wasting your time. And thank you for your help!
