Description Fabian 2023-07-15 17:21:13 UTC
SUMMARY
There is no media control notification anymore. A while ago it worked. Media control in the app works and other notifications are shown. Toggling the setting off and on again does not help.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Manjaro 23.0
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.107.0
Qt Version: 5.5.10
App version: 1.26.3 (can't select that in the version field)

Ironically, I usually control my laptop's media with the physical buttons of my phone via a macro, but that macro checks if a media control notification exists, so it also got broken. I guess I'll switch it to detecting the persistent notification instead and leave that on for now, then this bug barely affects me anymore.

This has been fixed but Google is rejecting the update to the Play Store. Alternatively you can get the app from F-Droid: https://f-droid.org/es/packages/org.kde.kdeconnect_tp/ Note that to install from F-Droid you will first have to uninstall the Play Store version due to different signatures.

Can confirm, fixed in latest FDroid version.
