The energy saving settings exist for three different modes, seen in the energy saving settings as three different tabs: On AC Power, On Battery, on Low Battery. In which of these tabs do you have the options unchecked, and in which situations (i.e. when you have the cable plugged in or are running on battery, or in both cases) does the screen turn off unwantedly? I am on mini-pc, without any battery. The exact version noted in the description. So, no tabs at all. For a record: 1. I am manually disable suspend and hibernation by this command: sudo systemctl mask sleep.target suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target 2. Disabled automatic screen lock here: System Settings -> Workspace Behavior -> Screen Locking In fact, I think this option should be at least noted and linked on the Energy Saving. Can you attach a screenshot of what the settings window looks like for you when it's in this state? Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. I am seeing this in 5.27.11 on Kubuntu 22.04. I am on a laptop, and when on AC power I want many things disabled: "Dim screen", "Screen Energy Saving", "Suspend session". I go to Settings / Power Management / Energy Saving / On AC Power and untick those boxes. Apply. Then I navigate to another area of the settings, or just close and re-open the settings app. All the boxes regain their ticked status. (I don't think I'm allowed to reopen this bug, but I'd really like to!) |
