STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install digikam/showfoto
2. Start it 
3. Tap to tools
4. The right sidebar could have been much more compact, especially in non-English localizations.

OBSERVED RESULT

Indecently large distance between the elements in the "tools" panel on the right, eats up too much free space.

EXPECTED RESULT

More compact layout, ability to disable captions.
