If I write text in the search field, the background color of the field changes to green in the case of dark themes, and a delete icon appears on the right side. This icon is white, so it's very hard to spot with the green background.
Many new digiKam users had to be shown it was there, otherwise they wouldn't have noticed!

Supplement: all dark themes contain the problem.
