FWIW, the behavior seems to match what Kleopatra and akregator do, with the tray icon always being visible Then the setting name should be changed to something like "Show System Tray icon" I guess. But that behavior doesn't make much sense to me, to be honest. Why would I want to see a System Tray icon for an app that has a visible window as well as a visible entry on the Task Manager? I don't see what benefits it provides when those are visible. A possibly relevant merge request was started @ https://invent.kde.org/network/neochat/-/merge_requests/1108 I'm not disagreeing with your point; for consistency's sake (and since it's easier ;)), I've updated the string for now.
