Component: copy-pasteAssignee: Konsole Developer <konsole-devel>
Status: RESOLVED WORKSFORME

Sentry Crash Report:
Attachments: attachment-2499900-0.html

Description René 2023-07-05 19:25:10 UTC
SUMMARY
Like in previous versions I try to select text then (ctrl+) drag and drop it on the command prompt, to save me typing paths or filenames. No longer works.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select text with the mouse pointer,
2. Ctrl+drag the selected text down or anywhere
3. Drop the text

OBSERVED RESULT
No drag nor drop takes place

EXPECTED RESULT
The dragged text is pasted / copied to the cursor location on command prompt. This worked in previous versions I used (functionality regression).

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux : Debian GNU/Linux 12
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Work around is doing ctrl+c and ctrl+v but that unnecessarily "contaminates" the clipboard.

I think this has been fixed - reopen if you can still reproduce on a newer version.
