Can you point to a simple example program written in KDE or QT that would be able to replicate the issue with the particular type of shader you reported? It could be useful for debugging purposes. I too have this problem with a NV96 card and plasma-systemmonitor. This problem was always there from the time I installed plasma-systemmonitor v.5.x in June to this day with v.6.0.4. I believe it is related to this: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/nouveau/2014-May/017082.html "Problem appear in shaders containing loops with conditional break when loop is not unrolled by nouveau. ... I think that artifacts appear in areas where is big difference in number of iterations executed for pixel before breaking from loop." If this is true, this behavior is really old. |
