Can reproduce with Firefox, but not Dolphin. Is this a regression from Plasma 5? The way I get around it in both 5 & 6 is to disable the Plasma Search Windows plugin. I lose the ability to select open windows by name via krunner, but I have alt-tab for dealing with open windows and if I can only have one of keyboard title selection for open windows, (which is cute, but would be a new addition to my standard workflow that I've never really had, so I certainly don't really rely on it at all at this point) vs easily launching new instances, (a bread and butter workflow item for me for decades) the launching new instances is way more important, so disabling the Windows plugin works fine. Thanks! |
