Video files will fail to open from dolphin if it contains certain characters (# is one) - Also happens with ?
Same issue seems to occur with certain extensions (happens with .ts)
If you rename the file to not contain a character or extension that doesn't normally open then video plays fine

Also opening the video by dragging or going to open file also does not have the issue either.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open dolphin file manager
2. Go to the location of the video file
3. Double click on the video

OBSERVED RESULT
Haruna does not open the video file

EXPECTED RESULT
The video opens and plays

It works for me. Are you sure it was the latest version (check about page) ?
Otherwise try reseting to default settings, try the flatpak, share a sample file.
If I can't reproduce I can't fix it.

I installed 0.11.1 the latest one from snap and it still had the same issue for me
i kept the old one on still but i confirmed when trying to open and check the version i was using the right one to make sure

But i dont install flatpaks or even snaps usually since i despise them i can think of a million issues that they have one being that the interface is incorrect for this app at least the normal one runs fine for me since the snap one i installed was the wrong colour and style and also had missing or hard to read text, so i avoid them when possible

If i can get a non flatpak or snap version it would be appreciated through it might do the same thing with the file opening either way unless the issue is now because it was the snap version of it

Im also opening it from a different drive which might also affect it.

Thanks.
