Would you be able to provide what version of Konsole you are using (Help -> About Konsole) and some basic system information? (System Settings -> About this System) Apparently not anymore since I already updated the OS and all packages, still waiting for this bug to occur again. Please note that the character duplication is not only on Konsole, but on the whole of KDE DE it seems... I would appreciate what debugging/logging steps should be taken, when that occurs again. Rebooting is clearly a solution, but it may be impossible to reboot when working on important stuff. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
