Whether or not your tablet works depends on the OS and the drivers. There is no code in Krita that directly interacts with your tablet. You can try to switch between Windows INK and Wintab in Krita's settings, _if_ you're using Windows, which you didn't specify. Also, if you're really using Krita 5.0.0. update to the latest version, 5.1.5.
