The first pic is 5.27.5, not 2.27.5
The margins are intentional but configurable. If you don't like them, add a Margins Separator widget to the left of the Digital Clock widget |
Created attachment 159737 [details] 2.27.5 clock Digital clock in system tray area now has large margins above & below it which result in quite small clock text (time+date). In Debian 11 (Plasma 5.20.5) the clock font could be enlarged/made small as desired, closer to the taskbar's max height. I liked to make mine reasonably big. Now in Debian 12 (Plasma 5.27.5) the clock font is limited by a margin (visible in edit mode pic) therefore the clock font can't be made as large as before (it ignores increases at a certain point). The icons look OK being within the larger margin of system tray, but the clock is text & could do with being bigger please, or reduce the margin for the clock so that users who want a larger clock can do so.
