SUMMARY
Tiled windows sometimes disappear from view when using the wayland session. Sometimes they can be recovered by multiple presses on the task manager icon, sometimes not. The usual suspects are dolphin and konsole but it can happen with any window.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log into wayland session
2. Use computer normally

OBSERVED RESULT
Occasionally windows disappear

EXPECTED RESULT
Windows should not disappear

I assume it's a wayland issue rather than a tiling issue because it doesn't happen in xorg.

Are you just in X11 now while you're reporting the bug? Or does the issue in fact reproduce on X11?

Yeah, I  switched to X11 and to confirm - it happens in wayland not in X11

I found a way to reproduce this in Plasma 6; see Bug 471282:

close laptop list with any windows quick-tiled to the right. Can anyone reproduce that?

That was fixed recently and I can't reproduce the issue anymore. Assuming that change fixed it.
