STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Mute the audio
2. Set an alarm
3. Wait for the alarm

OBSERVED RESULT

Alarm is triggered, but silently, there is no sound.

EXPECTED RESULT

Alarm is triggered with sound. The phone is temporary unmuted.

I'm not really sure what the best way to deal with this would be, the system needs a separate audio channel for kclock, otherwise the rest of the system would get unmuted. I'm also not sure if we "should" actually change system audio settings from within a sandboxed environment (flatpak).

Yes, I think a separate audio channel would be preferred.
But as a temporary solution mute / unmute should do the job.
Alternatively we could create a separate audio profile for kclock as we have for phone calls.
