SUMMARY
After files are deleted in Dolphin, a file next to them is selected


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Delete one or more files in Dolphin
2. A file next to them is selected

OBSERVED RESULT
A file next to deleted files is selected

EXPECTED RESULT
A file next to deleted files is not selected

This was intentionally changed as a bugfix of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419914. I am sorry to hear that this seems like unexpected behaviour to you, but what you are reporting as expected behaviour is unfortunately exactly opposite to the expected behaviour wished for by other users.

It is unlikely that we revert this change without good reason.
