SUMMARY (copy-pasted from #neochat:kde.org)
"It might be difficult/impossible to make this work while keeping intuitive keyboard control, as i dont know how that works, but i feel like there's certain moments the chat should be focused and it is not. For example when i open the settings, and then close it again, i have to manually focus the chat to be able to type.
On a similar note, when i up-arrow to edit a message, then cancel it by hitting esc, i have to hit esc twice. And then i cant up arrow to edit the message a second time, that just scrolls the chat up. Again not sure if this can be improved without jeopardizing keyboard only accessibility"

STEPS TO REPRODUCE example 1
1. Focus chatbox (able to type)
2. Click 'Open Settings', opens the Configure window
3. Close the Configure window
4. Attempt to type without manually focusing the chatbox (unable to type)

Steps to reproduce example 2
1. Focus chatbox
2. Press the up arrow key to edit user's last sent message
3. Attempt to cancel the edit with the Esc key (does not work)
4. Attempt to cancel the edit with the Esc key (successfully)
5. Press the up arrow key again to edit the user's last sent message (does not work)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
These could be 3 separate bugs, but to me they seem too insignificant on their own
