Currently I have the situation that in a complex mesh networks it does not work at all.

For a good reason this is always in universities, offices or other locations were you would really need the presenting features.

Libreoffice Impress Remote is an alternative, it doesnt work on Flatpak though, yet.

Also KDE Connect is way more powerful.

Would there be anything standing against implementing Bluetooth along with Wifi?

Thank you for this feature request!

Bluetooth support was implemented a while ago, but had to be disabled due to performance issues. These have been resolved, and Bluetooth connections will be enabled again in the upcoming release of KDE Connect (see https://invent.kde.org/network/kdeconnect-kde/-/commit/75ecb0fd74251b4f557820fffedeff426d6f6e01).

Do you know if Bluetooth is bound to for example firewalld rules or is it parallel?

I don't know for sure, but I don't think bluetooth uses the firewall.
