screen recording of view key bug
|
Created attachment 159022 [details] screen recording of view key bug SUMMARY When sending a pair request from phone to desktop, the "view key" button doesn't display the key. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Send a pair request from phone to desktop. 2. Click "view key". OBSERVED RESULT If it is not already loaded, the KDE Connect settings window will launch. You will be taken to a device page. In my tests I get taken to the wrong device page 100% of the time. In the screen recording, the device sending the pair request is "Moto X4". Also, even if this were the intended method for viewing a key (unclear), it is also useless, because once you click "view key" there is no way to accept the pair request any more. Even if I click on the correct device tab, the only option is to request pairing. Clicking this appears to not do anything at all, because the other device is *already* in the pair request mode... EXPECTED RESULT I should see a screen that displays the key of the device, and has an option to accept or reject pairing. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.106.0 Qt Version: 5.15.9 Kernel Version: 6.3.2-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION KDE Connect for Android version 1.24.5 (installed from Google Play store).
