Hello! I wonder if your computer is stable otherwise? A crashing app should not result in a whole system crash. During the encoding operation, I'm seeing this error: x264 [error]: malloc of size 172402752 failed Which means the app failed to allocate 172 MB of memory. How much RAM does your system have? Memory allocation only fails in very critical conditions, which should not happen normally. Are you using ffmpeg to encode? Can you try upgrading to a newer version maybe, or just reinstalling it? Thanks. The problem seems to be in the system setup. Could you please try to enable system-swap on your system or make sure that you have more free RAM when doing the encoding? Updating FFMpeg may also help. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
