It can take a really long time before a change in the translation of a package will be visible in a release of Neon. This can be al little frustrating. Perhaps this is intentional but perhaps it's not. Anyway, always glad to have helped you with your great work!

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make a change in translation of a package
2. Wait til next release of Plasma/Gear
3. Wait til next release of Plasma/Gear

OBSERVED RESULT
The change in the translation doesn't take effect

EXPECTED RESULT
The change in the translation takes effect within a reasonable period of time

Thank you for your bug report! 
However this bug report was created/provided previous to 01/01/2023 and also has not received any updates since  before 01/01/2025. 
Unfortunately KDE neon no longer provides updates for anything older than noble 24.04 based edition's.
Please upgrade to KDE neon noble and if you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to an active version, feel free to re-open this bug report.
