Test being wrapped here is odd. It's not supposed to be doing that. What font and font size are you using? Ah, you're using a fractional font size. Yeah, that causes this issue. It was a Qt bug that has already been fixed in Qt 6; see https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-92006. In the meantime, I would recommend using an integer font size until Plasma 6 is released and you can upgrade to it. |
Created attachment 158708 [details] Visualizing the wasted horizontal space while text is still wrapped. The page in the system settings that shows a Bluetooth device's properties does not make proper use of space available on screen. The concerned QML file is most likely src/kcm/package/contents/ui/Device.qml As shown in the attached screenshot, the checkboxes "Trusted" and "Blocked" wrap the text so that it looks like "Truste d" and "Blocke d" despite that there is plenty of horizontal space available; even the TextField for the device's name consumes more horizontal space.
