1. Launch digikam
2. open fullscreen mode
3. black screnn/ Application windows appear and disappear

Not reproducible at all. I use also Ububtu 22.94 here, where digiKam is compiled and installed.

Please record your desktop to illustrate the problem.

do you use the flatpak or snap package of digiKam ? 

Can you reproduce the problem with the digiKam AppImage bundle that we provide ?
