I can confirm this bug. Is also true fro Konqueror and Krusader Are you using systemd-homed or a non-local user account? Does it reproduce in Dolphin 24.12 or later? No systemd here Using Slackware 15-current so can't test Dolphin-24.12 as still on KF5 Mike Have subsequently upgraded and arm box to kf6. Dolphin-24.12 still exhibits same problem 🐛🧹 ⚠️ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. REPORTED I can't reproduce this on Kubuntu 24.04 or Dolphin built from git-master On Kubuntu, if Samba isn't installed, I see a message letting me know it needs to be installed before folders can be shared, with an install button On either system, with Samba installed, I see the expected UI on the Share tab If anyone is still seeing this bug, it's likely a packaging issue with your distribution |

STEPS TO REPRODUCE Right click inside a folder, choose Properties, click on Share OBSERVED RESULT The window is blank. EXPECTED RESULT A non-blank window. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Kubuntu 23.04 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The computer is joined to a Samba Active Directory domain.
