SUMMARY
Selecting a region and sharing to kdeconnect sends the whole screen screenshot instead of the selected region screenshot.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch spectacle and select region
2. Click on share button
3. Select "Send to device"

Screenshot of the whole screen is sent

EXPECTED RESULT
Screenshot of selected region should be sent

Can reproduce with all Purpose-based plugins, including Share to Imgur.
