This isn't done for normal windows and I think it would be quite odd and inconsistent to do it for Plasma popups. No can do, sorry. If I correctly remember, the resize operation was effectively triggered via a shortcut for launcher and panel widgets in an old Plasma version. Yes, that now works too. But it's a hidden accelerator for experts. |
Created attachment 158546 [details] Show resize handle only when a key is pressed In kickoff, when I point my mouse pointer on scrollbar the resize handle appears and distracts the scroll operation, the same happens with many widgets at the edges, it would be perfect if the resize handle appears only after the user click on key combination to resize the wanted element, because resizing launcher or widgets is not continuously wanted but it's done from time to time and sometimes only once, so there is no need for it to stay always enabled and distracting the user experience.
