*** Bug 468888 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Today I printed a document to PDF and also printed a physical copy. At the bottom of each page, errors were present in both the digital and physical results: page breaks cut through characters, so character ascenders would appear on page 2 while most of the character prints on page 3. Steps to reproduce: 1. print a multiple-page document to file OR physically (i am also using 8.5x11 paper, usa encoding & keyboard) 2. check each bottom line for misprinted characters Observed result: characters are split across a page break, poor readability Expected: Characters should never be split across pages; each line is discretely on its own page. Environment: Fedora Linux 39 KDE Plasma 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks 5.113.10 QT version: 5.15.12 Observed result: Why was the OS I reported this on removed? I hadn't heard it's fixed. Please, if you add to a report on another GNU/Linux, don't change it to that; leave it or at least change it to what sounds more general: 'unspecified'. I tested printing with 24.08 and that looks a lot better, with Frameworks 6.6. |
