Description nervecenter7 2023-04-16 16:31:16 UTC
SUMMARY
When navigating file hierarchies, KDE file picker enters folders on mouse click down rather than mouse click up. This results in it being rather sensitive, and sometimes it will accidentally select a file in the destination folder and replace the filename in the dialog with that file's name, which is unintended.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a browser or other application which uses the KDE file picker or xdg-dekstop-portal-kde.
2. Find a file to save, right-click, Save As.
3. Double-click a folder, but HOLD on the second mouse click down.

OBSERVED RESULT
The folder will be entered while the second mouse click is held down. Sometimes a file in the destination folder will be selected, possibly on mouse click up, and the file name will be replaced.

EXPECTED RESULT
The folder should only be entered upon the second mouse click up.
