I'm afraid Plasma 5.25 is unfortunately no longer eligible for support or maintenance. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. In the case of this bug, it is quite likely to be already fixed in Plasma 5.27, which includes many improvements for multi-monitor use cases. So please update to Plasma 5.27 as soon as your distro offers it to you. If you need support for Plasma 5.25, please contact your distro, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older non-LTS releases. If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to Plasma 5.27, feel free to re-open this bug report. Thanks for understanding! |
Created attachment 158105 [details] widgets position CHANGED by reboot SUMMARY widgets on dual screen/monitor setup do not persist their positions on reboot. multiple widgets end up on extreme right hand side of screen AFTER reboot, where they were not originally positioned. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. setup dual monitor w/ different resolutions 2560x1440 (Left) + 1920c1080 (Right) 2. set 2560x1440 (Left) monitor as Primary 2. setup multiple widgets in 2 separate columns close to each other right hand side of primary monitor. 3. reboot OBSERVED RESULT multiple widgets end up on extreme right hand side of Primary monitor AFTER reboot EXPECTED RESULT widgets should stay in original position SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 22.10 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0 Qt Version: 5.15.6 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
