SUMMARY
When searching for duplicate photos you should be able to also search for images with the same filename. This can be important to avoid duplicate file names due to multiple cameras, etc. It is also a great option for finding duplicate photos faster (but less accurately) without comparing image contents, generating fingerprints, etc. It could also be used in addition to the existing similarity search for more thorough results.

You can search for duplicate file names with the advanced search. For the similarity search, this is not an option to only compare the file name, this is about the fingerprint of the image. There is already a bug report to exclude the same base file names from the search. I close this wish.
