Created attachment 158028 [details] Sorry for the aweful video quality, I tried compressing with h265 but couldn't get it to the limit of 4Kb, so used a online service Currently if a video is playing on a different virtual desktop other than the used is currently on, video playback will show up as choppy in various desktop effects (overview, desktop grid, present windows). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a video on a virtual desktop. 2. Switch to a different virtual desktop (Don't move you video player on this new desktop). 3. Activate any effects (overview, desktop gird, present windows) 4. Examine that video playback is choppy OBSERVED RESULT Choppy video playback EXPECTED RESULT Smooth video playback SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.104.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I am not a technical user, but I think the problem is not limited to videos only, I think the problem is this effects can't properly render windows where stuff is going on, for example Audio Visualizer or when a terminal is continuously printing out large amount of output.
