SUMMARY

I put it into GRAVE in Sevirity. I dare anyone involved in KDE to try minimize all windows using both: shortcut and a button in system tray (bottom right corner next to clock).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Change Icons-only Task Manager to Task Manager
2. Open Kate and Dolphin
3. Try setting/using/figuring out how to minimize ALL WINDOWS. Minimizing all windows is not possible.
4. Uniminimize ONLY ONE WINDOW DOES NOT WORK. Its not possible. Windows are not minimized but "only disappear". Clicking on one program to "show/unminimize" only this program puts ALL PROGRAMS BACK UP.

OBSERVED RESULT
1. Remove Peek at desktop- Linux Distro/Unix don't use desktop to put files and folders, we have HOME FOLDER
2. Reinstate "Minimize all windows" so we can minimize all (keyboard shortcut and pannel/systray button) and then UNMINIZE ONLY ONE WINDOW.

EXPECTED RESULT
1. Delete uselss "peek at destop". We do not have anything "on desktop" we have HOME FOLDER (KDE has even predefined folders fro Documents, Music, Photos, etc) that personally I have on different block device. This is not windows. No junk on "desktop"
2. Allow us to minimize all windows (both shortcut and panel/systray icon) and bring back only one window/app with one click.

Sorry, but who the hell came with this %$# idea? Why KDE hates so much normal and sane behaviour of the desktop? Are you nuts?!

Are you nuts? Or is it some kind of sabotage or a joke? Who allows this decisions? Microsoft Employees? Is KDE now Microsoft dividision?

If you prefer "minimize all" to "peek at desktop", you're welcome to use that widget instead. Right-click on "peek at desktop" > "Alternatives" > "Minimize all".

If you don't like icons on the desktop, you're welcome to simply not put any icons there, or switch the desktop from "Folder" mode to "Desktop" mode.

If you prefer an environment that prohibits putting icons on the desktop in the first place, I might recommend GNOME.
