SUMMARY

I am trying to find duplicate from my large photo collection (~50K) with DigiKam 7.9.0 on Mac. I have a couple of folders which include time-lapse photos (which will have very high similarity). Now, how can I ignore only specific folders (or tags) while using find duplicate function? I could see the option to select specific tags (for finding duplicates), but not vice versa. Is there a way to achieve this?

Thanks Gilles, the link you provided talks about very similar features which I am looking for.

In principle, ignoring albums is already possible. Select all albums in the album tab (right mouse button menu). Now deactivate the albums in which the timelapse images are located.
