SUMMARY

The connection details in the widget do not update when the connection is modified.
Updates only seem to be triggered via Disconnect/reconnect. And are often incomplete.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Change IP address in setting or via cli
2.  Check applet for changes, vs nmci.
3. Applet doesnt change unless you toggle the connection (this will force a one-time update, that is often incomplete)

OBSERVED RESULT
No updates to widget details when connection changes are made.

EXPECTED RESULT
Widget details updates.

Thanks for the bug report, and I'm sorry we didn't manage to get to it yet. A lot has chanced since the issue was reported, in both Plasma and the networking stack in general; can I ask you to see if it's still happening in Plasma 6.3.5 or later with Frameworks 6.14 or later? Thanks a lot!
