STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start current opensuse-stable-distro, intel+nvidia geforce hardware, nouveau, wayland, plasma
2. login with ssdm as user
3. Edit toolbar -> plasmashell hangs or crashes instantly, always

OBSERVED RESULT
plasmashell hangs or crashes instantly, always

EXPECTED RESULT
No crash, Toolbar can be edited.
This only happens on Wayland, not on X11

Thank you for the bug report!

However Plasma 5.24.4 is no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE; supported versions are 5.27, and 5.27 or newer. Please upgrade to a supported version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one.

If you need support for Plasma 5.24.4, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older releases that are no longer supported by KDE.

If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to a supported version, feel free to re-open this bug report.

i checked ressources of opensuse leap and found a newer version of KDE Plasma, see beneath and updated version above.

It changed something: no crash reporting is popping up any more, but still the function is crashing plasma, always reloading instead of making edit possible. maybe the crashandler was uninstalled due to dependencies, but problem is still there. maybe wanna check further? how could i give more information?
