Searching for "c++ strings" in searchbar, instead returns "c strings"

SUMMARY
***
NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols.
See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Angelfish
2. Using the top search box, make a search including the symbols: +, $, &, ;, # (possibly more)
3. Notice the search engine has been queried without those symbols

OBSERVED RESULT
The symbols are stripped from the search

EXPECTED RESULT
Using the top searchbar, typing in a query with those symbols would return a search with those symbols

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: EndeavourOS Linux (Arch Linux)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The version of Angelfish is 22.09-1 because no one has updated the build on the AUR as of the time of writing this.
The default search engine has not been changed.
These symbols can be searched using the search engine itself.
See attachment for an example.
