This option will be available only with 8.0.0 release... You can test with 8.0.0-pre-release installer available here : https://files.kde.org/digikam/unstable/ Warnings: 8.0 database scheme is changed compared to 7.9. If you use 8.0 and you want to go back to 7.9, this will not possible. Backup your database first.
