(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konsole
Version: 1.1.3 (using KDE 3.0.2 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

When I open a session in konsole (e.g. Root Console) from the "terminal sessions button" and then I click the "New" button another Root Console pops up. So it opens another shell with the characteristics of the shell which was opened last.
I'd like to see a normal shell popping up. Or it might be interesting to make this feature configurable.
